Reiki Therapy is a form of Japanese energy healing, and can promote and support good health used frequently in conjunction with conventional medical and psychological treatments. Reiki Therapy is a natural, safe, non-invasive, and gentle “complementary” energy therapy that activates the parasympathetic nervous system to heal body, mind, and spirit. It works directly to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system that creates a sense of calm and relaxation within your body. Reiki Therapy has shown to boost the immune system through enhancing white blood cells, as well as support bone marrow production.

Before beginning the Reiki Therapy session, the client receives a full consultation with Reiki Master Brooke Chang about his/her requests, expectations, concerns, and conditions to be considered. Brooke will explain the Reiki Therapy process and what to expect during your session.

The Reiki Therapy is a very restful, relaxing, and calming experience when Reiki Master Brooke Chang places her hands above the body or lightly on the client’s body with the client’s consent/permission in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.  There is no massage of the body, and you are fully clothed during your session.  You may experience energy movements, such as sleepiness, warmth, coolness, tingling, flowing feeling, or other sensations. The benefits may be experienced immediately or over the course of several sessions. Reiki therapy is used in many clinical settings. Please see: Reiki in Clinical Settings.

As part of the Reiki Therapy session, Brooke performs an Intuitive Energy Reading, Chakra clearings, and uses tranquil music, aromatherapy, and/or crystal therapy to complement and enhance these Reiki therapy sessions. During your session, Reikiatsu Therapy (meridian energy work), Tere-Mai Seichem Therapy (Egyptian energy healing), and/or Reflexology (reflex zones) may also be used.
